About the Company

JERMIC, LLC was originally formed to help solve the problem for indoor plant enthusiasts of knowing when to water their plants. Orchid plants were our first concern as they do not grow in soil (dirt). Orchids grow in moss or bark (wood chips). MOMET™ answered this challenge.

MOMET Plus™ is the next evolution of moisture meters and is completely digital. It took the expertise of Jerry Fischer, one of the foremost authorities on orchids, and Michael Plitman with his creative consumer products expertise, and Richard Duin who logistically makes it all come together. All product development was done at the company in Minneapolis with the electronics completed by our manufacturer in China.
